About Uma Filipa (Filipa Veiga)

Woman, Mother, Ceremonialist, Spiritual mentor & Published Author. Coming from a Portuguese family and growing up in south-east Asia led me, from a tender age, to appreciate different spiritual traditions and ultimately the curiosity for the unseen realm. After studying Law and being a TV reporter for several years, the yoga came strong in my life and opened the portal to the discovery of the ancient Vedic wisdom.

I built discipline and devotion with the practice, the foundation for new imprints in my body and mind. Ritualising the use of Ayurveda, Mantra, meditation grounded me the foundation for a lifestyle based on Self love. The role of a mother and dedicated wife created the understanding of honouring the sacred inside our homes. I see grace and grounding in both my teenage daughters that I'm so proud of.
