DURING THIS RETREAT, WE WILL EXPLORE THE DEEPER QUESTIONS OF LIFE:
• Who am I, truly?
• Is there life after death?
• What is the purpose of life?
• Are we really separate, or is there a deeper connection?
• Can we live fearlessly?
• How to embrace trauma stored in the body?
These are the inquiries that bring us closer to understanding our true nature. We don’t need to wait for a catastrophe to explore these questions. Instead, we prepare ourselves for life’s challenges—old age, disease, death, and other difficulties—by understanding the impermanence of circumstances and the eternal nature of the Self.
Through the lens of Vedanta, we learn to live with deep reverence for both life and death. We discover stability, security, and fulfillment in that which never changes.
So if you feel called to join us, you are warmly invited.
With love and deep gratitude to all the wonderful participants who have shared their presence over the years. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to continue this sacred journey with you.
With love,

Villa Söderåsen’s WebsiteShāradā Devī
Shāradā is a spiritual mentor, teacher, and Vedic priestess whose life is a testament to resilience, devotion, and transformation. Born of Filipino and Swiss heritage, she grew up in Davos, Switzerland, where her early experiences in the hospitality industry taught her the value of connection and community. These roots laid the foundation for her later work in Venezuela, where she managed a Swiss foundation in Caracas, hosting cultural, social, and corporate events for Swiss companies and the Swiss-Venezuelan community. Her time there also deepened her commitment to service as she organized charity initiatives, supported local communities, and worked directly with orphans.
At 18, while traveling in India, Shāradā experienced a life-changing vision of a World Summit for Universal Peace. This moment was accompanied by a diagnosis of psychosis, with doctors predicting a life of dependency on medication. Instead, this challenge ignited her passion for freedom and healing, propelling her on a path of spiritual discovery that continues to inspire thousands worldwide.
Over two decades, Shāradā immersed herself in the study of Yoga, Vedānta, Tantra, Sanskrit, Dharma, Āyurveda, Vedic Chanting, Meditation and Pūjā sacred rituals under the lineage of Swami Dayānanda Saraswati. Her personal journey of reclamation—particularly in the realm of sacred sexuality—fueled her vision to restore the dignity of this sacred power. She knows that every individual is whole and complete, inherently the source of love, pleasure, and wealth, and she shares this message through her teachings and community offerings.
Her devotion to the sacred arts led her to teach Odissi dance, an ancient temple art, to underprivileged Indonesian teenagers in Bali. Together, they performed in Bali’s most revered temples, uniting devotion with cultural preservation.
Shāradā’s transformative Devī Circles have empowered women worldwide to awaken their inner goddess through ritual, embodiment, and sacred sexuality practices.
Her pioneering Devī Methodology bridges Vedic wisdom and trauma-informed practices, offering tools for deep healing and empowerment.
Today, Shāradā stands on the brink of manifesting her vision of a World Spirit Forum, a global council of wisdom traditions dedicated to fostering unity and harmony. In collaboration with His Eminence Shyalpa Rinpoche & the Bali Peace Forum, she is working to establish this groundbreaking summit in Davos, Switzerland—a realization of the vision that first emerged in her youth.
Shāradā’s life is devoted to making ancient wisdom and modern tools accessible to all, supporting individuals and communities in their return to wholeness & embodying the wealth they are. Her prayer is for humanity to awaken to its inherent dignity and reclaim its erotic aliveness, living empowered and illuminated lives in service to universal harmony.
